Situated in Downtown Moline, Splash holds many handmade bath products created by owner Christiana Headley. All of her skills are self-taught and she offers a range of products, including bath bombs, shower bombs, pillow sprays, essential oils, refillable liquid soaps, and many themed soap bars. CBD products are also offered in body butters, lotions, bath bombs, and Splash supplements. All of the bath products are made by hand in the store by Headley.
The business originally began as a small pop-up shop in Rock Island, and Headley would make all the products at her house. However, the business continued to grow and after a year and a half, she was able to move into her current location in Moline and have a permanent storefront. Here, she’s had room to create an even wider range of bath products to offer customers.
The products offered in the store change with the seasons and are made in small batches. In the summer, beach scents and themes of warmth and outdoors can be found. In the winter, more festive items can be found on the shelves. Because of the rotating nature of the products, Headley recommends grabbing what you like before it's gone!
Beyond bath products, Vanya the Great Pyrenees Mountain dog can also be found wandering the shop floor looking for attention from any visiting guests. She serves as a friendly face and fluffy mascot of Splash. A few of the products are also puppy-themed for any soap enthusiasts with furry friends at home.
